Fire show outdoor

Stage dimensions: Minimum 7 x 5m, level, fireproof surface.

Stage background: A background is not absolutely necessary depending on the performance venue. If you wish, we can bring a fireproof stage background made of stage molton.

Sound: For our outdoor performances we have a portable, mains-independent music system for events up to about 200 people. For larger events, an appropriate music system can be rented (details on request). With existing music system: With CD player, better with Bluetooth or 3.5" jack plug connection.

Fire show indoor

Stage dimensions: Minimum 7 x 5m, level, fireproof surface.

Stage floor: The stage floor should be clean and preferably made of insensitive, fireproof material.

Stage background: A background is not absolutely necessary depending on the performance location. If desired, we can bring a fireproof stage background made of stage molton.

Sound: Music system appropriate to the room with CD player, better with Bluetooth or 3.5" jack plug connection.

Hall light: The hall lights should be dimmed for the duration of the show.

Fire and smoke detectors: Fire and smoke alarms must be turned off for the duration of the show.

LED-Performance

Stage dimensions: At least 7 x 5m, flat surface.

Stage floor: The stage floor should be clean and preferably black.

Stage background: The background should be matte black (e.g. stage molton or black velvet).

Power: At the stage we need at least two 220 V power outlets, each on the right and left of the stage.

Black light performance

Stage dimensions: At least 7 x 5m, flat surface.

Stage floor: The stage floor should be clean and preferably black.

Stage background: The background should be matte black (e.g. stage molton or black velvet).

Sound: Music system appropriate to the room with CD player, better with Bluetooth or 3.5" jack plug connection.

Hall light: The hall lights should be dimmed or better turned off for the duration of the show. The darker the room, the better the black light effect will come into its own. The stage should ideally be illuminated in dark blue. Black light tubes we bring if necessary, if black light lamps are available, they should illuminate the stage as evenly as possible from the front and above.

Power: At the stage we need at least two 220 V power outlets, each on the right and left of the stage.

We will be happy to send you detailed safety information and stage instructions upon request.

On request, we are of course happy to offer you individual advice for your event!

Props

For our fire shows we use different devices. In the following, we would like to briefly introduce the most important ones and their respective special features:

A poi (Maori: "ball") consists of a head connected by a chain with finger loops. When playing, a poi in each hand is moved in circular paths around the body. Fire poi have wicking tape at the ends, which is soaked in flammable liquids (such as lamp oil) and set on fire.

Our fire ropes or snake poi are braided from several strands of Kevlar rope, which create a very large flame area and are therefore particularly popular with the public. We usually use them as a highlight towards the end of the show.

Firestaffs are wick-taped staffs that are moved around the body or thrown.

Fire fans consist of several metal rods, each with wick ribbon at the end. Fans are especially used as a means of expression for dance movements.

Black light and light shows

For our light and black light performances, we use specially manufactured lighting devices. Depending on the needs (and customer requests), we use clubs and balls equipped with LEDs for juggling, glow poi, LED poi and sticks, or fabric and flag poi made of fluorescent materials for our light shows.

Although the overall effect of a light show is naturally different from that of a fire show, the breathtaking beauty of the flowing movements and the complexity of the figures performed are fully appreciated, especially with these devices.

Safety

Although accidents are rare in practice, fire shows naturally involve the risk of fire and also a risk of injury to players and audience. Therefore, an essential part of our planning concerns safety - yours and ours:

Safety distance

Before a performance, sufficient safety distances from the audience and from flammable objects at the performance site must be ensured.

Handling of combustibles

All fire props are soaked with fuel prior to the performance. Excess fuel, will be thrown out prior to the performance so that it can be performed cleanly and without splashing. In addition, this will also prevent damage to the environment.

Fuel

We use only highly purified petroleum (lamp oil) as fuel, which soots little, cannot ignite itself thanks to a high flash point and only burns on the prop itself. There are no or only small amounts of fuel directly at the performance site.

Fire blankets

As a matter of principle, we keep a wet Molton or GRP fire blanket in the immediate vicinity of our fire shows to extinguish the props. We keep other suitable extinguishing utensils within reach.

Fire props

We use mostly our own constructions, made to the highest quality standards and from the best materials. All props are inspected for wear before each performance.

Insurance

All performers are covered by liability insurance for show and class.

Outdoor performance

For outdoor performances, we pay special attention to wind conditions, as strong winds may pose a danger to performers and audience.

Indoor performance

When playing with fire indoors, we use a special pyrofluid instead of the normally used lamp oil. This pyrofluid is highly purified and burns down almost smoke- and soot-free.

In addition, special safety measures are required indoors:

• Checking ceilings for combustible materials (e.g. fabric decorations, pipe insulation, etc.).

• Exclusion of the danger of a dust explosion. Whirled-up dust can form an explosive mixture with air and collects especially in high rooms, e.g. on air shafts and pipes.

• If possible, combustibles must not be allowed on or near the stage. If there is no other way, the burning liquid is filled into sealable, tip-over and leak-proof containers.

• Fire and smoke alarms must be turned off for the duration of the show.
